Our small group on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. meets every week to discuss the scripture readings for the message being prepared for Sunday Worship. We meet at Burger King in the small meeting room every week, whether the pastor is able to attend or not.
It is coffee with a purpose. We enjoy socializing, but we also dig into the scripture for the week, sharing thoughts and insight based on the pastor’s questions, and what we might be hearing from the text. We sometimes also share a devotion based on the text. And, to end the hour each week, we pray for any concerns that people want to share.
